Every design style asks for something different. And that’s the point. This session with Van Zee Design Interiors wasn’t about running through a boilerplate shot list or recreating something predictable — it was about stepping into the space and letting it speak first. The materials, the scale, the way one room opens into another… none of that translates the same way twice.


The real work happens in observation. Watching how light moves across surfaces, where the eye naturally lands, how the space unfolds as you walk through it. Not forcing symmetry where it doesn’t belong, not flattening it into something overly controlled. Just paying attention long enough to understand how it actually feels to be there.


Because the goal isn’t to replicate a rendering. It’s to capture something more dimensional than that. Something lived-in, immersive — images that feel like you’ve stepped into the space, not just looked at it from a distance.
