Designed Space, Lived in

imagine.
This session with Studio 818 was a blend of two things that don’t always get captured together — the finished space, and what life could look like inside it. We photographed a home she designed, but also stepped into something more personal: lifestyle images of her with her family, in some of the rooms she helped create.
It shifted the energy in the best way. The space wasn’t just styled — it was used. Kids in the frame, natural movement, moments that softened the structure of the design without taking away from it. And throughout it all, she had a close friend by her side, helping, adjusting, keeping things flowing. The kind of quiet support that makes a long shoot feel lighter.
Because design doesn’t exist in isolation. It’s meant to be lived in, experienced, shared. And when you capture both—the intention and the life inside it—you get something that feels complete.
